How ordering lab tests online works

Start by choosing the testing you want to review

Fortivelle lets you compare individual tests and broader panels before purchasing. Each product page lists the available biomarkers, price, specimen type and collection requirements.

An individual test may be useful for a focused measurement. A panel groups several measurements together. The choice should fit the reason for testing and any guidance you have received from a qualified health professional.

Provider authorization comes before collection

Fortivelle coordinates provider-authorized laboratory testing through independent ordering partners and laboratories. Fortivelle is not itself a clinical laboratory.

Availability and authorization can depend on the test and the patient’s location. An order may require follow-up information or may be declined when it cannot be appropriately fulfilled.

Complete the required collection

Collection may involve a blood draw, an eligible self-collection kit, an office visit or mobile collection. Follow the instructions supplied for the specific test because preparation and specimen requirements differ.

• Check whether fasting or timed collection is required.
• Do not stop medications or supplements unless a qualified provider instructs you to do so.
• Tell the ordering or laboratory team if preparation instructions were not followed.

Receive and review the laboratory report

The performing laboratory processes the specimen and provides the report through its secure process. A result outside the reference range is not automatically a diagnosis, and a result inside the range does not rule out every health concern.

Seek qualified clinical interpretation, especially when results are unexpected, symptoms are present or treatment decisions are being considered.
