TEST DETAILS
What this test evaluates
Lipid panel and lipoprotein(a), or Lp(a), for complementary information about cardiovascular risk.
Why order these tests together?
A lipid panel measures standard cholesterol and triglycerides. Lp(a) adds information about a largely inherited risk factor that a standard lipid panel does not measure.
No insurance needed. No outside doctor’s order needed—we provide licensed-provider authorization before collection.
See bundle offers and optional add-ons →Current guidelines recommend measuring Lp(a) at least once in a lifetime. It usually does not need routine repeat testing. These results do not diagnose blocked arteries.
